Gomes Gets Some Back
Having slipped to about 22,000 during Level 2, Alex Gomes has gained a little back. Seeing a raise to 450 and a call in front of him, Gomes re-raised to 1,700 in middle position. The table folded around to the original caller and he came along.
The 
flop was checked by both, landing the 
on the turn. It was checked to Gomes and before he even set down the chips for his bet, his opponent folded and surrendered the pot.
Gomes is back up to about 25,000.
