Rainer Kempe was all in for 7,400,000 from middle position against Sorel Mizzi in the small blind.
Rainer Kempe: J♦J♥
Sorel Mizzi: 6♥6♣
Kempe was in a great spot to double, but that changed as the board started 7♦4♦3♠6♦ to give Mizzi a set. In a stunning turn of events, the dealer then put down the J♠ on the river to give the German an emphatic double.
Ren Lin opened to 1,600,000 from under the gun with Q♦10♦ and Vladimir Minko three-bet to 5,500,000 in the small blind with K♣K♥. Lin laid it down despite having a Lady Gaga in his hand.
If Lin is a man of his word, he may end up folding all the way to the final table.
Justin Bonomo raised to 1,600,000 from under the gun and Lou Garza ripped all in for just under 12,000,000 on the button. The blinds folded and Bonomo looked back at his cards before making the call.
"I gotta do it," he said as he dropped chips into the pot.
Lou Garza: A♣Q♠
Justin Bonomo: 10♥10♣
The flop came Q♣10♠6♦ with the queen in the window for Garza but it was quickly followed by a ten for Bonomo. The 3♥ on the turn meant Garza was drawing dead to the K♥ on the river and became the first elimination of Day 4.
Lou Garza was one of the short stacks left in the room and he pushed out a raise to 6,500,000 in middle position. Justin Bonomo reraised from the small blind which got Roland Rokita to eventually fold his big blind. Garza called off his last 125,000 chips and the cards were tabled.
Lou Garza: Q♠Q♥
Justin Bonomo: A♥9♠
Bonomo was in an uphill battle against the pocket queens of Garza and the flop of J♣4♥3♣ was clean for the short stack. The Q♦ on the turn left Bonomo drawing dead to the 6♥ on the river.
Justin Bonomo opened to 1,100,000 from under the gun and Lou Garza three-bet to 3,000,000 on the button. Bonomo sat still with his hands on his lap and then called.
Bonomo checked on the flop of 10♥7♦6♠ and Garza continued for 2,000,000. Bonomo check-raised all in and Garza sent his cards to the muck.
Four-word horror story? Chip leader Michael Addamo. The thought likely sent shivers down the backs of the other 35 remaining players in the WSOP Paradise $25,000 Super Main Event as the Australian high-stakes crusher, a few years ago regarded as one of the toughest opponents on the felt, bagged the Day 3 chip lead.
Addamo will be joined on Day 4 in The Bahamas by fellow big stacks Sirzat Hissou, the Lady Gaga-worshipping, fold-to-final-table strategizing Ren Lin, and Poker Boom igniter Chris Moneymaker, as the 2003 Main Event champion looks to add to his legacy by becoming the first-ever Super Main Event champion.

Big Names on Day 4
Science communicator and former PokerStars ambassador Liv Boeree, who took a photo with Maria Ho and Vanessa Selbst that would warm the heart of any 2010s poker fan, made the most of her rare appearance on the felt and advanced to Day 4 as the last woman standing. The 2010 EPT Sanremo champion has already locked up $140,900 to add to her $3.9 million in live earnings.
Boeree spent much of the day at the feature table and made a hero call with fourth pair against Marcelo Aziz. She had the right read that Aziz was bluffing but he was doing so with the best hand and chipped up nicely to end the night second in chips.
Addamo had the best Day 3 of all thanks to a three-way all-in that saw him cracking a set of aces with the nut flush. It's good to be Addamo, and you can read more about the Australian poker pro in this 2023 interview with PokerNews.
Other big names headed into Day 4 include Justin Bonomo, Matthias Eibinger, Lou Garza, Rainer Kempe, Christoph Vogelsang and Mustapha Kanit.
Action will pick up at noon local time on Level 27 with blinds of 400,000/800,000/800,000 and 60-minute blind levels. The plan is to play down to a final table before tomorrow's Day 5 plays to a winner, who will earn $6 million and the Super Main Event gold bracelet.
