Addamo Collects the Pot of the Tournament with Double KO
Tom-Aksel Bedell opened to 1,200,000 in the cutoff and Alisson Piekazewicz just called from the small blind. Michael Addamo reraised to 4,800,000 from the big blind and Bedell called. Piekazewicz stuck in the last of his 3,825,000 chips and a small side pot ensued.
The flop came A♠10♠2♠ and Addamo led out with a bet of 1,500,000. Bedell raised to 8,500,000 and Addamo clicked it back to 15,000,000.
"Oh no," Bedell sighed as he threw his hands up in the air. "Well I'm not folding so I'm all-in." Bedell moved in for around 37,000,000 and Addamo snapped him off creating the largest pot of the tournament.
Alisson Piekazewicz: J♣9♣
Tom-Aksel Bedell: A♣A♦
Michael Addamo: K♠J♠
Addamo flopped the nut flush but Bedell was still drawing plenty live with a set of aces while Piekazewicz became a bystander. The turn brought the 8♦ and the river was the 4♥ as Bedell bricked out and Addamo collected the chips and the double knockout at the end of Day 3.
