Vlad Darie Leads the Final Nine in Event #6: $5,000 Deepstack No-Limit Hold'em
On December 12 at 2:00 p.m. local time, only nine players will return for the final table of Event #6: $5,000 Deepstack No-Limit Hold'em at the World Series of Poker Paradise. A total of 363 entrants competed at Atlantis Paradise Island for a shot at WSOP gold, creating a prize pool of $1,815,000.
The players reached the money on Day 2, with 51 securing a minimum cash of $11,370. However, the remaining nine players are focused on the top prize of $293,050 and a coveted WSOP gold bracelet. This final table features players from nine different countries, with Romania's Vlad Darie, a one-time bracelet winner, holding the chip lead heading into the final day with 4,530,000 chips, good for 76 big blinds.

Several notable players made the money but fell short of the final day, including 2019 Main Event Champion Hossein Ensan, who finished in 40th place for a min-cash. Others, such as Christoph Vogelsang cashed for $13,190, as well as bracelet winners Ylon Schwartz, Nick Maimone, and Frank Brannan, who each cashed for $15,300.
Action will resume in Level 25, with blinds at 30,000/60,000 and a 60,000 big blind ante. Levels will last 40 minutes, with a 15-minute break after every three levels. The final nine players have each secured $36,590, and will compete for the top prize of $293,050 and a WSOP gold bracelet.
