Eric Wasserson opened the hijack to 55,000 before Josh Arieh three-bet to 160,000 from the button, and Wasserson called.
On the 8♠7♥7♣ flop, Wasserson check-called a bet of 85,000 from Arieh.
The 5♥ turn checked through to the K♥ river which saw Wasserson lead for 500,000. Arieh went into the tank as he contemplated a hero call.
"I don't think you have sh*t," explained Arieh. "I think you have like jack-ten."
Ultimately, Arieh decided to lay it down, conceding a sizeable pot to Wasserson without showdown.
