Deeb Trys to Start the "Greatest Comeback Ever"
Shaun Deeb raised to 700,000 from under the gun leaving 15,000 chips beind. It then folded to the big blind Arkadiy Tsinis and he made the call and turned his cards over, not realizing Deeb was not all in.
The flop came out and Tsinis bet to put Deeb all in and he said, "I'm probably folding, I have a worse king," and mucked his hand to leave himself with 15,000.
The very next hand he was forced all in from the big blind and Nick Schulman raised from the cutoff to leave the players heads up once it folded to Deeb.
Shaun Deeb: 10♥5♦
Nick Schulman: A♥K♥
The board ran out A♦Q♥K♣5♥J♦ and Deeb made a straight on the river to chip up to 45,000.
On the next hand, Deeb was again forced all in from the small blind, and Santhosh Suvarna opened the action with a raise to 350,000 from the cutoff. Arkadiy Tsinis on the button then three-bet all in, which forced the big blind and Suvarna out of the pot, leaving Deeb and Tsinis heads up.
Shaun Deeb: Q♦4♥
Arkadiy Tsinis: K♠10♦
Deeb needed to improve past the king-high, and managed to do that once the board ran out 6♠Q♥5♠6♣7♣ and chip back up to 255,000, after having 15,000 chips just two hands prior.
As he scooped the pot he said, "This would be the greatest comeback ever."
