The Man Known as Teach is No More
Level 13
: Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Ken "Teach" Aldridge, who spent 29 years teaching high school, made a name for himself at the 2009 WSOP when he won Event #9: $1,500 NLH 6-Handed for $428,259 and a gold bracelet, which he wears every day.
Because he is a bracelet winner, Aldridge was invited to this tournament, but unfortunately just saw his run come to an end.
It happened when he got his last 38,000 all in preflop and was up against Michael Malm.
Ken Aldridge: A♥K♠
Michael Malm: K♣10♣
Aldridge had the best of it, but the 2♦7♣Q♣ flop gave Malm a flush draw, and he hit it when the 8♣ spiked on the turn.
"Alright, I had fun guys," Aldridge offered sincerely after the meaningless 4♠ was run out on the river.
