Accused Private Poker Game Cheater: "I Didn't Bring Any Cards Anywhere"

Level 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

One day after being accused of cheating a California home game out of millions, Tony Mars issued a statement to PokerNews denying the allegations.

Wesley Fei and Nikhil "Nik Airball" Arcot, both Hustler Casino Live regulars, claim that Mars, who also plays on HCL, brought a special UV-marked deck that allowed him to decipher face-down cards.

The alleged scandal occurred in a game at a private residence in Yorba Linda, California, a community in Orange County.

Kolev Takes a Pot

Level 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Jeremy Izquierdo raised to 250,000 on the button, Boris Kolev called in the small blind, and Daniel Neilson defended the big blind.

The dealer fanned out the Q65 flop and the blinds checked to Izquierdo who bet 250,000. Kolev called and Neilson folded.

The 6 landed on the turn and Kolev led out with a bet, causing Izquierdo to muck.

Mark Burford raised to 200,000 on the button and Alex Keating shoved all in for about 1,800,000 in the small blind. Action came back to Burford who got a rough count and called.

Alex Keating: KJ
Mark Burford: 99

The two were off to the races as the 10105 flop kept Burford ahead to the 3 turn. Keating needed a king or jack to survive, and although paint came on the river, it was the Q to eliminate him in ninth place for $34,900.
