Level 37 : Blinds 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante

Michael Acevedo opened to 2,000,000 from the button before Jackson Santos, who covered Acevedo slightly, moved all in from the big blind. Acevedo snap-called with his stack of 14,200,000 to put himself at risk.

Michael Acevedo: QQ
Jackson Santos: 22

Acevedo was in great shape with the bigger pocket pair and remained ahead on the 1054K7 runout to secure a full double up through Santos, who was left with just over three big blinds.

Raus Takes Over the Chip Lead

Level 37 : Blinds 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante
Martin Raus
Martin Raus

Josef Snejberg raised to 2,000,000 from the button and found one caller in Martin Raus from the big blind before seeing the flop come 2A10.

Raus checked over to Snejberg who continued with a bet of 1,300,000. Raus thought for a short time before making the call and watching as the J hit the turn.

Raus checked it to Snejberg again and again, Snejberg reached into his stack and came back with a bet in the amount of 3,200,000. Raus decided on making the check-call again to see the 2 fall on the river.

Raus checked a third time and once more, Snejberg went into his stack and came out with a huge stack of chips good for a bet of 11,000,000. Raus asked the amount before quickly flicking in a call to see that Snejberg was on the three-barrel bluff when he turned over the K4.

Raus quickly tabled the A10 and collected a pot that made him the newly minted chip leader with almost double his next closest competitor.

Raus Doubles Through Snejberg

Level 37 : Blinds 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante

Josef Snejberg moved all in from the button, covering both of the blinds by a wide margin. Martin Raus called off for his last 14,300,000 from the big blind to put himself at risk.

Martin Raus: A10
Josef Snejberg: 65

Raus was in good shape to double up and remained ahead on the 292 flop. The 10 turn left Snejberg drawing dead and after the 2 river Raus secured a full double up at Snejberg's expense.

Seyoon Lim Eliminated in 5th Place ($79,700)

Level 36 : Blinds 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante
Seyoon Lim
Seyoon Lim

Action folded to Seyoon Lim in the small blind who jammed a short stack. Michael Acevedo was in the big blind and after checking his cards, quickly made the call to put Lim at risk and headed to a runout.

Seyoon Lim: Q3
Michael Acevedo: AJ

The 936 flop was a good one for Lim as he jumped into the lead with two cards to come, but the board pairing 9 turn card provided Acevedo with extra outs for the win.

The 6 river provided one of those newly acquired outs and gave him the best hand, sending Lim to the payout window in fifth place for $79,700.

Snejberg Takes Down a Big One With No Showdown

Level 36 : Blinds 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante
Josef Snejberg
Josef Snejberg

Action folded to Jackson Santos who raised to 1,600,000 from the cutoff only to see Josef Snejberg come in for a three-bet to 4,600,000. Santos thought briefly before reaching for chips and putting in the call to see the flop come 10104.

Santos checked it to Snejberg who continued with a bet of 2,200,000. Santos opted to make the call and watch as the J fell on the turn.

Action checked through to the 5 river card.

Santos checked it over once more to Snejberg who took a moment before reaching for chips and counting out a bet worth 8,500,000. Santos was not quick to release his hand but he did eventually decide to toss his cards toward the muck and concede what had become quite a big pot to Snejberg without showdown.

Ami Barer

Jackson Santos opened to 1,200,000 from the cutoff before Josef Snejberg three-bet to 2,800,000 from the button. Ami Barer called off in the small blind for his last 475,000 before Santos made the call as well.

The flop came 1052 and Santos check-called a 1,600,000 continuation bet from Snejberg.

Santos check-called another bet on the 7 turn, this time for 4,700,000.

Both players checked the 9 river. Snejberg could only show QJ for a total bluff while Barer tabled J6 for jack-high. Santos showed down 88 for just a pair of eights which was good enough to take down a gargantuan pot, close the gap between himself and Snejberg and send Barer to the rail in 6th place.
