Day 1 of the Event #15: $10,000 High Roller 6-Handed at the 2023 World Series of Poker Paradise at Atlantis Hotel & Casino attracted 134 entries, which is sure to grow as late registration is open until the start of Day 2 at 3 p.m. local time Wednesday. The prize pool has already surpassed the $1,000,000 guarantee, but how big it’ll grow will have to wait until Wednesday.

After nine levels of play on Day 1, approximately 60 players found a bag with France’s Jean-Noel Thorel and his stack of 444,000 leading the pack. Others to make it through the night were Yuri Dzivielevski (417,000), Mike Watson (335,500), Jesse Lonis (327,500), Jessica Teusl (266,500), Stephen Song (184,500), and GGPoker Ambassador Daniel Negreanu (89,000).

Of course, not everyone was so lucky. Among those to try and fall were Josh Arieh, Ren Lin, Martin Kabrhel, and Sergi Reixach. The good news is that all of those players can give it another go if they’re keen to fire another bullet.

Day 2 will kick off at 3 p.m. local time on Wednesday, so stay tuned to PokerNews as we bring you all the exciting action for this event from the moment cards are in the air until a winner is crowned.
