Peters Hoped to Chop But Got the "W" Instead

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

At the feature table, David Peters raised to 800,000 from the button with the A2 and left himself just 5,000 behind. Bojan Gledovic called from the small blind with the A7 and the big blind folded to bring about a flop of 68K.

Gledovic tossed in 5,000 and Peters called off. Peters was dominated but the 10 turn made it about a 50/50 proposition that he would chop on the river.

The 2 wasn't a chop card, but it was even better as Peters actually paired up to score the improbably double.

Mikita Badziakouski raised to 200,000 from under the gun and Gregor Kampmann three-bet jammed for 940,000 on the button. Action folded back to Badziakouski who deliberated and called.

Gregor Kampmann: 99
Mikita Badziakouski: A5

The J83 flop kept the nines ahead, but the A hit the felt on the turn to vault Badziakouski in front. Kampmann needed a two-outer to survive, but the 7 river bricked out and he was eliminated.
