Warburton the Victim in Enormous Three-Way Pot
Action folded to Steven Warburton who raised to 25,000 from the hijack, finding two callers in Jonathan West from the cutoff and Corey Brass in the big blind, leading to a 5♦10♦3♦ flop.
Brass and Warburton both checked to West who tossed out a bet worth 25,000. Brass made the call and with action back on Warburton, he paused before reaching for chips and putting in a check-raise to 62,000.
West didn't need much time to make a decision as he grabbed chips and put in a relatively quick raise to 125,000. At this point, the pot was getting big and with action back on Brass, he decided to make a four-bet and jammed for 265,000. Warburton called off his shorter stack and West called as well, placing both Warburton and Brass at risk with two cards to come.
Steven Warburton: 5♠5♥
Corey Brass: A♦3♣
Jonathan West: 3♠3♥
In a pot that started out subdued enough, the flop set the action into the stratosphere having absolutely nailed all three players and with the threes dead for West, Warburton would need a non-diamond runout to secure a huge triple up.
The hope of such a runout was short lived, though, as the turn immediately brought the 2♦ and when the board completed with the 7♥, Brass sat down to rake in the massive pot as Warburton stood up to make his exit from the tournament thanks to this insane hand.
