Benson Primed for More PLO Success

Level 4 : 100/200, 0 ante

Australian Poker Hall of Famer Gary Benson is fresh off a fourth-place finish in Event #4 $1,650 Pot-Limit Omaha for $16,563, and he's in our field looking for even more PLO success. He's got a good shot at it too as he is already sitting with 40,000, much of which he just took off Sam Higgs.

We picked up the action with 12,900 in the pot and a board reading {6-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Clubs}. Benson bet 7,000 from the big blind and Higgs thought for about 30 seconds before calling from the button. Benson tabled the {4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for a turned set, and it was good as Higgs simply mucked his cards.
