Dmelakian vs. Barer vs. Lyndaker

Level 3 : 200/400, 50 ante

Ami Barer opened for 900 and received a call from Richard "nutsinho" Lyndaker on the button. Ken Demlakian then called from the big blind and three players took a flop of {7-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{4-Hearts}. Demlakian checked, Barer continued for 2,550, and both his opponents called.

After the dealer burned and turned the {6-Clubs}, Demlakian led out for 7,500, both Barer and Lyndaker called, and the {K-Spades} completed the board on the river. Demlakian bet again, this time 11,000, and Barer quickly folded. Lyndaker dropped in the call and Demlakian stated that he had two pair.

Before those cards were tabled, Lyndaker casually rolled over the {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for a flopped flush and the win.

50 Shades of Gray

Level 3 : 200/400, 50 ante

We happened upon the action with 33,000 or so already pulled into the pot and a flop reading {k-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{3-Clubs}. Australian Poker Hall of Famer Jason Gray had 17,000 out in front of him from the cutoff and Asa Smith was debating what to do from the button. Eventually he settled on a call and it was off to the {10-Hearts} turn.

Gray checked, Smith thought for about a minute before betting 11,500, and Gray took a few moments before moving all in. Smith quickly called off for 24,950 and Gray knew the situation even before the cards were turned up.

"Kings?" Gray asked. Smith indicated that pocket cowboys was indeed the case.

Gray: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}
Smith: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

Gray watched helplessly as the {4-Diamonds} blanked on the river and he sent the vast majority of his over to Smith.

Nuts for Rousso

Level 3 : 200/400, 50 ante

With around 10,000 in the pot and a board reading {q-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}, George Danzer checked from the hijack and then called when Vanessa Rousso bet 3,500. When the {5-Clubs} paired the board on the river, Danzer checked and Rousso thought long and hard before doing the same.

She was clearly worried about a full house as she showed the {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for the ace-high flush. Danzer didn't have it though as he sent his cards to the muck.

Quads for Duhamel

Level 3 : 200/400, 50 ante

From the button, 2010 World Series of Poker Main Event champion Jonathan Duhamel raised to 1,100. Reigning Aussie Millions Main Event champion Ami Barer called from the small blind, and then Jan Suchanek reraised to 4,100 from the big blind. Duhamel called, and Barer folded.

On the {8-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop, Suchanek bet 5,025. Duhamel made the call to see the {2-Clubs} pair the board on the turn, and Suchanek checked. Duhamel bet 8,500, and Suchanek called.

After the dealer laid out the {6-Diamonds} on the river, Suchanek checked, and Duhamel bet 21,000. Suchanek quickly made the call, but he also quickly saw that Duhamel had flopped a set and turned quads with the {2-Hearts}{2-Spades}. Suchanek mucked, and Duhamel collected the pot.

On the very next hand, Duhamel opened to 1,200 from the cutoff seat. Suchanek three-bet him again, this time to 3,600. Duhamel called, and the flop came down {A-Spades}{10-Hearts}{3-Clubs}. Suchanek fired 5,025, and Duhamel folded.
