The Friendly Hand

Level 9 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

From the hijack seat, Andy Lee raised to 4,000 to start the action. Fabian Quoss called from the cutoff seat, and then Jonathan Duhamel reraised to 12,500 from the button. Play folded back to Lee, and he called. Quoss also called, and the flop came down {Q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{6-Spades}.

On the flop all three players checked, and then they also checked the {K-Clubs} turn card to see the {A-Diamonds} hit the river. One by one, each player checked again, and then Duhamel turned up the {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} for a pair of aces on the river. Lee and Quoss mucked, and Duhamel won the pot.

"That was a friendly hand," said Duhamel as he pulled in the chips.
