Hands #192-196: Antonios Opening Up a Big Lead

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Hand #192: Michael Tran opened for 27,000 from the button and Steven Zhou called from the small blind. The {5-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop saw Zhou check-call a bet of 24,000 and then both players checked the {3-Clubs} turn as well as the {K-Clubs} river. Tran showed the {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and Zhou mucked.

Hand #193: Zhou raised to 26,000 on the button and won the pot.

Hand #194: Alex Antonios limped the button, Tran did the same from the small blind, and Zhou exercised his option from the big with a raise to 37,000. Only Antonios called and then both players checked the {7-Spades}{a-Spades}{j-Hearts} flop. Zhou check-called a bet of 46,000 on the {5-Diamonds} turn, and then he check-called one of 140,000 on the {9-Clubs} river. Antonios tabled the {5-Clubs}{5-Hearts} for a set, and Zhou mucked. Zhou then claimed to have flopped two pair.

Hand #195: Zhou raised to 26,000 from the small blind, Antonios called from the big, and the flop fell {a-Spades}{4-Clubs}{8-Clubs}. Zhou bet 28,000 and Antonios folded.

Hand #196: Zhou raised to 30,000 on the button, Tran called from the big blind, and then both players checked the {10-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{a-Spades} flop. Tran proceeded to check-call a bet of 47,000 on the {2-Clubs} turn before both players returned to checking on the {3-Hearts} river.

Zhou showed the {3-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} for two pair, but it was inferior to the {10-Hearts}{j-Spades} two pair of Tran.
