Negreanu Range Smashing

Level 5 : 100/200, 25 ante

Action folded to Daniel Negreanu on the button and he raised to 475. The jovial pro then chatted with the players in the blinds and encouraged them to enter the pot. The small blind obliged, and then the player in the big opted to three-bet to 1,700. Negreanu gave him a hard time before making the call, the small blind came along, and three players took a flop of {4-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{7-Spades}.

The small blind checked, as did the big, and Negreanu was giddy with excitement.

"Range smashing," Negreanu stated before firing out 2,700. "Is that what they call it? Range smashing."

Negreanu then did an Incredible Hulk impression while uttering "range smashing, range smashing." The small blind folded, and then the big faked moving all in before releasing his hand.

"Oh, I was gonna call," Negreanu said excitedly. He then showed the {k-Spades}{q-Spades} for a flopped flush draw.
