In the Money, Richard Gagne Bubbles

Right when the 22nd player busted, Richard Gagne was paying off a double up to Alexander Matveev. He was left with just over 10,000 chips.

It only took Gagne two hands to get all in for his remaining chips and he was up against a big hand. Robert Gariepy had {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}. Gagne opened by shoving his remaining 12,000, barely more than a big blind, which was 10,000. Gariepy raised it to 35,000 and the remaining players folded.

The action was held while players at the other tables completed their hands.

At the table next door, Randy Khalil had shoved all in against Kathy Sawers. She eventually folded, which meant that Gagne would either double or be the stone bubble.

He showed {k-}{8-} and needed a lot of help to beat Gariepy's pocket aces. The flop gave that help when it came {k-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{4-Clubs}, giving Gagne two pair.

However, the turn was the {q-Spades} and the river was the {q-Diamonds}, which gave Gariepy a better two pair.
