Michael Malm Shows The Bluff

"Oh man," said Patrick Gatfalvi with both hands on his head.

Two eights sat face up on the table next to the {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Spades} board and Michael Malm was collecting the pot.

"Well played," said Gatfalvi.

The action started when the two were heads up with the flop reading {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{6-Spades} and Gatfalvi checked. Malm bet 11,000 and Gatfalvi called.

The turn was the {5-Hearts} and Gatfalvi checked again. Malm took a moment, but decided to check behind.

The river was the {2-Spades} and Gatfalvi led for what looked like 12,000. Malm quickly shoved all in and Gatfalvi folded quickly.

Malm tossed {8-}{8-} out face up and Gatfalvi seemed distraught.

"You had jacks right?" asked Malm.

Gatfalvi said he did have jacks and Malm collected the pot.
