Sreyleap Prom Leads at the End of Day 1d in the Canadian Poker Championships
Day 1d of the Canadian Poker Championships is complete with a total of 78 entries with 52 players moving on to Day 2 at 5:00 p.m. this evening.
Leading the field is Sreyleap Prom with a total of 3,987,000 chips after playing nine turbo levels. Close behind is Michael Tessier-Strasbourg (3,219,000), with Diana Shamshoum (2,929,000), Julio Cacoilo (2,647,000) and Farid Jattin (2,464,000) rounding out the top five stacks.
Registration in this event is still wide open until the end of Level 12 during Day 2, with players getting a single re-entry until then. Players will still start with 1,000,000 chips should they buy in directly, with a shot at the $2 million prize pool.
Other notable players to make it through today's field include Rayan Chamas (2,362,000), Rodney Ramalho (2,300,000), Nikolas Chinell (1,854,000), Wesley Wong (1,756,000), Donghai Lu (1,329,000), Jonathan Karamalikis (1,152,000), and Will 'The Thrill' Failla (817,000).
