Engel Trips Up Billard

Level 15 : 6,000/12,000, 1,000 ante

Francois Billard raised to 26,000 in the cutoff and Ari Engel shoved for 280,000 from the big blind. Billard called.

Engel was at risk with {k-Diamonds}{9-Spades}, behind Billard's {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}.

The flop came {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} and Engel took a commanding lead with trip kings. The turn was the {10-Diamonds} to give Billard a straight draw, but the river was the {4-Clubs} and Engel doubled through.

Billard Doubles Through Engel

Level 15 : 6,000/12,000, 1,000 ante

Jeff Cormier, Ari Engel, and Francois Billard all went to a {4-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{9-Hearts} flop. Engel led with a bet of 36,000 holding {q-Spades}{9-Spades} and Billard check-raised to 92,000 with {4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}. Cormier folded and Engel called.

The {2-Diamonds} landed on the turn and Billard bet 128,000. Engel raised all-in and Billard snap-called.

The {j-Clubs} completed the board and Billard doubled into the chip lead leaving Engel in the danger zone.
