Ann-Roos Callens enters Day 3 in third position, having soared near the top as a PokerStars Qualifier. Tied with her is Franky Green, who brings a wealth of recent success into the final day. Green finished second in the £200 UKPL Midshot Event for £4,340 and claimed first place in the £100 No Limit Hold’em Ladies UK Championship in Coventry last year, earning £3,280.
Three players narrowly missed advancing to Day 3 in a dramatic finale that saw Louisa Plint, Emma Wilkinson, and Wendy Watson eliminated in the last three hands of Day 2. Watson, a seasoned professional with $145,299 in lifetime earnings, is a well-known figure in both UK and international poker circuits.
