The £1,100 Women's Winter Festival High Roller Kicks Off at 12 p.m. Local Time
Today, PokerStars proudly sponsors the inaugural Women’s Winter Festival at Hippodrome Casino. It is a first-of-its-kind event with an initiative to promote women in poker and inclusivity across the wider poker landscape. The series of activities will see a whole host of unique tournament formats, including the 50/50 male & female event, as well as the £100,000 guarantee Main Event.
The £1,100 Women's Winter Festival High Roller is paving the way for four days of action. A noon start time invites women across the nation's capital and beyond to participate in the highest buy-in tournament on the roster, as this high-paced one-day event will play down to a winner.
Previously, the largest buy-in women's tournament on the PokerStars lineup was the €550 Women's Event held at EPT Barcelona. Soraya Estrada bested a field of 84 entrants to claim the first-place prize of €11,350.

Players will sit down with a starting stack of 30,000 and will play through 30-minute levels. One reentry is permitted for each player with registration open until the completion of Level 10. Between 13% and 15% of the field will be played with the eventual winner being crowned the same day.
