Dilley Down, Howeth Up

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Michael Wang shoved all in for 13,700 from early position and action folded to Shane Howeth, who went all in over the top of him for 27,500 from the button. Aaron Dilley was in the small blind and went all in over both of them, getting a fold from the big blind.

Michael Wang: {q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Shane Howeth: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
Aaron Dilley: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

The board ran out {q-Clubs}{5-Spades}{6-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{8-Hearts} to give Wang a pair of queens on the flop, only to see Howeth make the nut flush on the turn and scoop the entire pot for more than a double. He later shared that he was the most recent rags-to-riches story of the tournament, having been down to 6,000 just two hands before. He made quad tens on the hand before to get up to 27,500 and now finds himself with nearly three starting stacks as Level 8 comes to a close.
