Players at Table 54 alerted us to a short stack run-up story in progress, as Aaron Dilley commands a stack of 45,000, one that is 90 times the size it was during Level 4 (100/300/300), when he was crippled down to just a lone purple 500 chip.
Dilley's fortunes since then have taken a massive turn for the better, and he enjoys an above average stack just two levels later. Players at the table jokingly called him the "hot pretzel" guy, as he was eating one at the time of his chip deficit, and Dilley just smiled and said, "I would take another one."
