It's Time For Who's Gonna Go Broke!

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

James Mordue opened from the button to 550 and Chris Staats reraised from the small blind, making it 2,000 to go.

Mordue called. The flop came {8-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and Staats led for 1,500. Mordue called.

The turn was the {a-Hearts} and Staats bet again, this time making it 3,000. Mordue called. The river was the {2-Spades} and Staats bet 3,000 again. Mordue called and showed the winner with {5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}, which beat Staats' {a-}{q-Clubs}.

Todd Elwood was sitting next to Mordue with 50,000 chips.

"Don't worry about him, he's gonna go broke," Mordue said with a smile turning to Elwood.

On the next hand, Mordue raised again. He made it 800 to go and Staats three-bet him again. This time he made it 3,000. Mordue folded {7-Clubs}{2-Clubs} face up.

Mordue and Staats were chatting back and forth and Staats thinks he knows the future.

"I have no doubt you're going to get the rest of this," Staats said pointing to his remaining chip stack, "I am never folding."
