Seat 1: Jake Haller (3,600,000) — Jake Haller enters the final day of this event sitting fourth in chips. He hails from Mustang, Oklahoma, and boasts $33,227 in live tournament earnings prior to this result. He has four World Series of Poker cashes, including three from this past summer, and one Heartland Poker Tour result. Previously in the River Poker Series Main Event, Haller finished 45th in 2013 for $9,087, and that was the largest score he’s earned before reaching Day 3 this year.
Seat 2: Lonny Hardcastle (3,100,000) — Lonny Hardcastle from Rockwall, Texas, boasts career live tournament earnings of over $47,000 prior to this result, and his best finish landed him $14,260. That biggest score came in the 2011 World Series of Poker Bossier City $1,080 No-Limit Hold’em event, where Hardcastle took fourth out of a field of 167 entries. He is also making his third cash in the River Poker Series Main Event, previously finishing in the money in 2008 (56th - $5,850) and 2010 (110th - $3,800).
Seat 3: Numit Agrawal (540,000) — The shortest stack entering Day 3 is Numit Agrawal, but the man from West Lafayette, Indiana, has a fair amount of experience under his belt that could help him turn things around. Entering this event, Agrawal had just under $400,000 in live tournament earnings. Two of his results have been World Series of Poker final table appearances that earned him six figures. In 2013, Agrawal took fifth in the WSOP’s $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha event for $205,512. Earlier this year, he took fourth in the $3,000 Six-Max Pot-Limit Omaha at the Series for $112,717.
Seat 4: Douglas Claybrook (1,155,000) — The second shortest stack entering Day 3 is Douglas Claybrook from Vidor, Texas. With just over $100,000 in live tournament earnings prior to this run, Claybrook will be looking to make a career score if he can ladder up one more spot. Prior to this event, Claybrook’s largest prize came when he won the $100,000 Guaranteed $340 No-Limit Hold’em event at the 2013 Spring Break Poker Classic in Biloxi, Mississippi, for $41,451.
Seat 5: Jose Montes (2,465,000) — Jose Montes has been having himself quite the year, and he now finds himself in the mix to earn the million-dollar payday that every poker player dreams about. After seemingly treading water for the first part of his poker career, Montes earned a $352,669 victory in January of 2015 when he won the World Series of Poker Circuit Choctaw $1,675 Main Event. One month later and he found himself right back in the winner’s circle, capturing the Heartland Poker Tour Black Hawk $1,650 Main Event title and $240,523. All told, the man from Bronx, New York, had $864,829 in career live tournament earnings before this event.
Seat 6: Barry Hutter (4,835,000) — A native of Florida, Barry Hutter enters the final table second in chips after coming into Day 2 as the overall chip leader. The young gun entered this event with over $2 million in live tournament earnings and is having his best year ever on the felt. This summer, Hutter earned his first real breakout win when he captured his first World Series of Poker gold bracelet in the $1,500 No-Limit Hold’em Shootout for $283,546. He also scored $141,900 last month when he took fifth in the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open $25,400 High Roller.
Seat 7: Andy Andrejevic (5,580,000) — Miami, Florida’s Andy Andrejevic enters the final day as the chip leader and a career list of live cashes totaling over $430,000. Towards the end of 2014, Andrejevic earned his best tournament result to date, taking third out of 601 entries in the Rock ’N’ Roll Poker Open $3,500 Main Event at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino for $170,000. He has also earned four World Series of Poker and two World Poker Tour cash results, including finishing 178th in this year’s WSOP Main Event for $40,433.
Seat 8: Patana Pradith (1,750,000) — Another man from Texas in the final 10 is Patana Pradith, and he hails from Arlington. Pradith will enter the final day third-to-last in chips and have his work cut out for him with the skillful and aggressive Maxx Coleman and Joseph Skinner on his left. Entering this event, Pradith only had one cash result for $3,153 on record, coming from a fourth-place finish in a Choctaw Spring Poker Series event.
Seat 9: Maxx Coleman (2,660,000) — A cash-game grinder from Derby, Kansas, Maxx Coleman has earned over $445,000 thanks to 21 live tournament cashes. His biggest result was in 2013 when Coleman took 21st in the World Series of Poker Main Event for $285,408. This summer, Coleman finished in the money in five WSOP events, with his best finish there being a 10th-place result in the $5,000 Six-Max No-Limit Hold’em event for $42,032.
Seat 10: Joseph Skinner (3,615,000) — Third in chips coming into Day 3 is Joseph Skinner. He doesn’t have much on his live tournament cash list, with just $1,487 in earnings from two results back in May, and this event could very well serve as Skinner’s big breakout. Much like his tournament record sheet, Skinner has been pretty quiet all event long, but he’s done well to make his way into the final 10 after we first got word of him when he busted Olivier Busquet all the way back in Level 1 of Day 1a. Now, not only is the man from Lubbock, Texas, making the biggest result of his career, but he’s in line for a life-changing sum of money.
