Hutter Loses One, But Still Doing Well

Level 9 : 400/800, 100 ante

After a raise to 800 from a player in middle position, Barry Hutter made the call from the cutoff seat. The players in the small blind and the big blind called as well, and the dealer spread the {A-Spades}{K-Spades}{3-Hearts} flop. Action checked to Hutter, and he bet 1,600. The player in the small blind called, the next player folded, and then the original preflop raiser called.

The turn was the {8-Hearts}, and everyone checked to see the {A-Hearts} land on the river. The first player led with a bet of 5,000, and the next player folded. Hunter mulled it over for a few moments, then called, but mucked when his opponent tabled trip aces with the {A-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}.

Despite the loss on this hand, Hutter is still doing well here on Day 1c with 175,000 in chips.
