Winamax Ambassadors Gus Hansen and Romain Lewis Qualify for Day 2 In the Largest 6-Max Event Ever
With a total of 2,736 entrants, the 2024 Winamax Sismix Main Event set a new world record, becoming the largest 6-max tournament ever. After a very big Day 1b yesterday, Day 1c today was even more massive with 986 entrants recorded.
Among the qualified players, we find Don Cho, who burst the bubble to reach 1,139,000 chips to become Day 1c's chip leader. He is followed by Lucas Resines (991,000) and Nathan Pascal (920,000), who were next to each other at the end of the day.

After Pierre Calamusa on Day 1a, Gus Hansen and Mustapha Kanit managed to qualify for Day 2. Between those two, Kanit is slightly in the lead with 387,000 chips, while Hansen has 318,000 after he spent a large part of his day on the feature table.
Sacha "Pyro" Cohen was also on the feature table earlier today. He even had two blinds at one point, but came back and filled his stack with 627,000 chips, a little bit less than Jérémy Palvini (730,000) or Raphael Kroll (627,000). Club Poker Radio host and Kill Tilt co-founder Mikael 'Shishi' Berrio shared Pyro's table during the last level and bagged a pretty nice stack as well (490,000).
Maxime Chilaud (294,000), Dylan Patanchon (190,000), and former Winamax Team Pro Almira Skripchenko (142,000) also reached the money and qualified for Day 2, and so did Jeremie Zouari, who doubled up on the bubble (103,000), and Romain Bonicel, who will be back on Day 2 with... 15,000!
Finally Day 1d ended with 64 remaining players out of a field of 377 entrants. And on this last flight of the festival, Winamax Team Pro Romain Lewis ended up as the chip leader with 859,000. His teammate Leo Margets also found a bag (675,000), as well as French streamer Mathieu Choffardet (694,000), Guillaume Darcourt (569,000) or recent WSOP-C Paris champion Mohamed Iche (342,000).

After the Moroccan night tonight, players will have to choose between Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid tomorrow at 8 p.m. local time as the Champions League final will be broadcasted... in the Theatro! But whoever the winner is, everybody will gather after the match for a party in the biggest night-club in Africa.
