Neyroud Heads Into Final Day of SISMIX Main Event With Huge Chip Advantage
Day 2 of the 5,500 Dirham (€500) Winamax SISMIX Main Event, running at the Casino de Marrakech in the El Saadi Resort, has now concluded.
A total of 390 players started the day. The bustouts came in thick and fast and it took a matter of only a few hours before the field was reduced to half that number. There are now only 18 players remaining who will come back for the Final Day to play for the lion's share of the 10,450,000 dirham prize pool (approx. €950,000 euros).
The next player out will take 45,000 dirham. The overall winner will walk away with the tidy sum of 1,000,000 dirham.
Sylvain Neyroud is currently the leader with 16,000,000, giving him a huge chip advantage over the rest of the field. The closest to him in terms of chips is Christophe Beyer, who has 11,480,000.
In third place is Gonzalo Serrano with 8,615,000, followed by Ewen Trevidy in fourth with 7,810,000. Luis Cabello rounds out the top five with 6,300,000 chips.
