The Winamax Poker Open (WPO) at Banco Casino in Bratislava continued today with two more Day 1 flights of the €500 Main Event; Day 1b and turbo flight Day 1c. Each attracted fields of 483 and 63 entries respectively.

In Day 1b, 83 players bagged and tagged for the Day 2 restart on Saturday, September 23, upon completion of the remaining two starting flights tomorrow. Every player who managed to survive the ten hours of play is now in the money, having secured a minimum cash of €1,000.

By the end of proceedings, it was Adrien Guyon who claimed the all-important title of chip leader taking through a more than an impressive stack of 1,048,000; the first player to accumulate over one million chips. Guyon is no stranger to Winamax success having come second place in this very tournament for €88,000 in 2022.

Notable names to hit the rail included Bruno Lopes, Estelle Cohuet and Mehdi Chaoui. However, it is highly anticipated that all three players will try their luck once last time in the remaining two flights.

The Day 1c turbo also concluded tonight with Andrii Nikitin taking through the chip lead within that respective flight with a stack of 557,000.
Alongside Nikitin, ten other players found a bag and will progress to the next stage of the tournament, like french streamers Hadrien "zChance44" Gallois (375 000) and Sacha "PyroSC" Cohen (315 000).
