Day 1a Started
Following May's record breaking Winamax Poker Open (WPO) in Madrid, the popular tour operator returns to live felt again, this time at the wonderful Banco Casino in Bratislava, Slovakia.
Over the course of WPO Bratislava, which runs from September 26 through to October 2, 35 events are scheduled. Of course, the €500 Main Event is the highlight of the series but a host of great tournaments feature such as the €750 Battle Royale, €300 Monster Stack, €1,000 High Roller and €200 Mystery KO. All of which play six-handed.
The Main Event has four starting flights, with Day 1d running as a turbo. The fields will then merge for Day 2, which plays out on October 1. Those who survive the second stage will then return the following day where a winner will be crowned.
Those who have bought in or qualified for the Main Event will start with a 50,000 starting stack, with blinds increasing every 30-minutes. Players are permitted one reentry per Day 1, with late registration closing at the end of Level 13 (approx. 7:15 p.m. CEST). Player breaks will take place every 4 levels and all of the starting flights will close when players are in the money. Day 2 will get underway on the level after the earliest Day 1 finish.
There's also a plethora of side activities for attendees to get stuck into such as the popular Beer Pong Open, Bongo Loco, a quiz which is then rounded off with a player's party to mark the end of the series.
