266 Players Return for Winamax Poker Open Dublin Main Event Day 2
Just 266 players remain from a record field of 1,389 in the 2019 Winamax Poker Open Main Event here at the Citywest hotel in Dublin.
The new high surpassed last yea'rs figure by just under 200 showing the consistent attraction that is the Winamax tour and its six-max format.
The remaining players will all be wanting to lock up a cash when the money bubble bursts today. Prize pool and payouts are yet to be confirmed and we will give them to you as soon as we have them.

The chip leader heading into the penultimate day is Philippe Guillou who bagged 764,000 in yesterday's Day 1c flight. Behind him comes Day 1a chip leader George Stoddart (750,000) and Erik Oelschlegel (739,000). Day 1a chip leader Jeremy Etot (736,000) and Elisha Benguigui (700,000) are the only other players over 700,000 in chips.
A total of eight Winamax Team Pros have made it through to Day 2, with former champion Pierre Calamusa (436,000) the best placed of them. Then comes Davidi Kitai (231,000), celebrating his 40th birthday today, Ivan Deyra (219,000), Leo Margets (200,000), Adrian Mateos (167,000), Aladin Reskallah (149,000), Guillaume Diaz (135,000) and Gaelle Baumann (124,000).
