Deyra Can't Find the Call

Level 28 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante
Ivan Deyra and Kazuma Fujiyama in quite the pot before the break
Ivan Deyra and Kazuma Fujiyama in quite the pot before the break

A massive pot played out right before the break. Ivan Deyra and Kazuma Fujiyama were at the river on an {8-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{3-Spades} board, and Fujiyama had put Deyra to the test for his remaining 1.8 million chips. Deyra was deep in the tank and thought for almost five minutes before finally relinquishing his hand.

Fujiyama turned over the {9-Spades}{10-Spades} for a stone-cold bluff, and Deyra just shrugged and told Fujiyama how he had contemplated making the call for his tournament life with a mere {Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. Intentions don't win pots, however, and Fujiyama surges above 10 million chips.

The Big Stacks Clashes

Level 28 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante

Once again the play started fast and furious today, but no major pots have played out these last 30 minutes. That might seem a bit surprising with big stacks Hector Gonzales and [Removed:445] sitting right next to each other on table #5, but just now they did end up clashing as the Spaniard got the better of Haho.

The two of them saw a flop of {6-Spades}{A-Hearts}{4-Spades}, Haho checked his option and Gonzales bet 225,000. Haho came back over the top for 525,000 and Gonzales made the call.

The two players checked through the {3-Hearts} turn before Haho turned on the aggression again with a bet of 600,000 on the {5-Diamonds} river. Gonzales quickly slid out a tower of gray chips worth 2,000,000, and Haho thought a minute before announcing the call.

Gonzales had rivered the straight with {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}, and a frustrated Haho mucked his cards, handed over the additional chips and got out of his seat to walk it off.

Jerome Barre Eliminated in 10th Place (81,000 MAD)

Level 28 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante
Jerome Barre
Jerome Barre

Jerome Barre is the latest casualty at the 2017 Winamax SISMIX Main Event.

He and Hector Gonzales saw a {4-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{K-Spades} flop, and Gonzales opted for a check-raise after Barre came out firing. Gonzales called. The {Q-Diamonds} turn went check-check before Gonzales checked again on the {3-Diamonds} river. Barre rather quickly moved all-in, and the Spaniard called even quicker with {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} for a flopped set. They were way ahead of the {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} of Barre, and the Frenchman hit the rail in 10th place.

Nine players are still in the running, while Barre has to be content with a payday of 81,000 MAD (€7,441). The next player out will take home an additional 9,200 MAD.

Mickael Muselli Eliminated in 11th Place (73,000 MAD)

Mickael Muselli was just eliminated by the hand of Paul Guichard

Mickael Muselli entered the pot by moving all-in for 1,630,000 and Paul Guichard on the button re-shoved for around 4.2 million. Both Hugo Larachiche and Christophe Beyer in the blinds folded and the hands were turned over.

Mickael Muselli: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}
Paul Guichard: {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}

The dealer fanned a {3-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{J-Spades} flop and followed up with a {2-Diamonds} turn. By now Muselli had already got up and said his goodbyes, and he was right to do so as the {3-Clubs} completed the board.

Romain Meyer leaves the tournament in 12th place
Romain Meyer leaves the tournament in 12th place

Romain Meyer moved all-in for 2.2 million chips and [Removed:445] made the call holding {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}. Meyer turned over {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}, but they didn't improve on the {6-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{9-Spades} flop. The {A-Hearts} on the turn put Meyer greatly ahead, but Haho got him back on the {8-Hearts} river, and a frustrated Meyer got out of his chair and headed for the cashier.

Haho and Hector Gonzales are now neck-a-neck for the chip lead with just 11 players left.
