Davidi Kitai in the Field, Brice Puypalat Among the Chip Leaders
We noticed Team Winamax pro Davidi Kitai now in the Day 1c field. His stack is down to 13,600, however, on the same table we noticed Brice Puypalat with a huge early stack in front of him.
Puypalat attempted to shared this was thanks to two hands which both started off slowly with him holding non-premium cards and although he isn't that comfortable speaking English went on to attempt to explain his good fortune in more detail.
During the first hand, Puypalat was in the big blind holding in a limped pot with the button and small blind. The flop featured two hearts which Puypalat check then called a small bet from the button. He nailed his flush on the turn and his opponent wound up getting it all-in holding to only get outflushed by Puypalet.
Shortly after, he was in an even bigger pot where it is believed most of his current stack when he limped from the button and got calls from players in the small blind and big blind. The player in the small blind led out with a bet on a flop, the player in the big blind folded, and Puypalat just called. The small blind then bet again when the the gave Puypalat a full house and he opted to call. His opponent shoved all-in when the completed the board on the river handing Puypalat a pot believed to be worth over 50,000 chips after he called.
According to The Hendon Mob, Puypalat has only two live cashes, however, his last one was also in a Winamax event when in September 2015, he snagged 42nd place in the Winamax Poker Open Dublin to bank his biggest career cash of €2,100.
