Winter Catches Foxen Reaching for Cookies

Level 12 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Sean Winter
Sean Winter

Alex Foxen opened to 17,000 from under the gun, Sean Winter called in the big blind and the flop came down {9-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades}. Action checked to Foxen who bet 15,000 and was check-raised to 40,000 by Winter.

Foxen called and the dealer flipped over a {6-Spades} on the turn. Winter bet 25,000, Foxen called and the {4-Diamonds} completed the board. Winter checked to Foxen, he bet 110,000, leaving only 46,000 behind.

Winter used a full time extension, in the end he called and Foxen tabled {q-Spades}{10-Spades} for air. Winter turned over {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} for two pair, taking down the pot from Foxen's ill-timed bluff attempt.
