Hellmuth Takes Half to Survive

Level 11

Stud Hi-Lo:

Eric Rodawig: {x-}{x-}/{10-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{A-Spades}/{x-}
Phil Hellmuth: {x-}{x-}/{5-Clubs}{8-Spades}{5-Spades}{K-Hearts}/{x-}
Justin Bonomo: {x-}{x-}/{3-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}/{x-}

Eric Rodawid completed and was called by Phil Hellmuth and Justin Bonomo.

On fourth street, Bonomo checked, as did Rodawig before Hellmuth bet. Bonomo made it two bets, and Rodawig called before Hellmuth went all in for 1,000 more. Both Bonomo and Rodawig called.

On fifth street, Bonomo bet and Rodawig called. Bonomo bet on sixth and Rodawig called again. On seventh, Bonomo checked. Rodawig bet and this time Bonomo called.

Eric Rodawig: {10-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{A-Spades}/{K-Spades}{K-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} - Two Pair, Kings and Tens; No Low
Phil Hellmuth: {5-Clubs}{8-Spades}{5-Spades}{K-Hearts}/{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} - Pair of fives; Eighty-five low
Justin Bonomo: {3-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}/{9-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{8-Hearts} - Pair of sevens; Eighty-seven low

Rodawig had the best high with two-pair, while Bonomo took half the side pot with an eighty-seven low. Hellmuth was able to take down half the main pot with a better low than Bonomo and survived to nearly double his stack.
