Tilston Sends Aldemir Packing

Level 8 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Keith Tilston
Keith Tilston

Koray Aldemir opened on the button with a raise to 9,000. Keith Tilston called in the small blind and Brandon Adams called in the big blind.

The flop was {K-Spades}{10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and all three players checked to see the {J-Diamonds} on the turn. There, Tilston led, making it 16,000. Adams folded while Aldemir called.

The river was the {A-Diamonds} and Tilston checked over to Aldemir. Aldemir fired a big bet, making it 42,000. Tilston dropped into the tank, using a time extension. He thought about it for a bit then moved all in for right around 120,000 effective. Aldemir then dropped into the tank, and thought about it for nearly the entire time bank before calling.

Tilston showed his {9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for a turned straight and a rivered flush, and Aldemir could only produce {Q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} for a broadway straight, and he would be eliminated from the tournament while Tilston chipped up to over 350,000.
