Perry Doubles Through Katz on a Gin River

Level 2

Action was limped four ways and the flop came down {K-Hearts}{K-Spades}{6-Diamonds}. There, all four players checked to see the {10-Diamonds} on the turn.
Cary Katz led out first to act with a bet of 7,000 and only Sean Perry called from the cutoff.

The river was the {Q-Clubs} and Katz moved all in for right around 40,000. Perry called it off instantly. Katz showed {J-Spades}{9-Clubs} for a rivered straight but Perry was holding {K-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} for a rivered full house.

"That was the gin card for you," Perry said. "But it was the super gin card for me."

With that, Perry doubled to just over 100,000 while Katz was left with about 70,000.
