Banks Gets a Little Tricky

Level 5 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

There was roughly 20,000 in the pot on the turn with a board showing {2-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{5-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and Maxx Coleman lead out from the big blind with a bet of 9,000. Alex Foxen called in the hijack seat before LaDarren Banks made it 18,000 from the cutoff. Coleman folded but Foxen called to see the river.

The river was the {7-Spades} and Foxen checked. Banks made it 32,000 and Foxen thought it over before calling. Banks showed down his {A-Spades}{2-Spades}{J-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for three of a kind with the nut kicker and Foxen mucked his hand.

"Trick tricky," Coleman said to Banks after the hand.

"Man you play with me too much," Banks responded with a smile.

After taking down the pot Banks is now up to right around 230,000 chips.
