The 2019 US Poker Open continues today with the conclusion of Event #1: $10,000 NLH, a tournament that began with 90 entrants but is now down to the final table of six.
Leading the pack is former WSOP November Niner Joseph Cheong, but he has to contend with a tough final table that includes established high rollers Sean Winter and Stephen Chidwick. The latter is the reigning US Poker Open champ and is seeking his third USPO title.
The remaining players are guaranteed $54,000 in prize money but of course, everyone is eyeing up the $216,000 first-place prize. Whoever wins will also be out to an early lead in the 2019 USPO and put themselves in a good position to claim the extra $100,000 PokerGO is awarding the series winner.
Play will resume at the 20,000/50,000/50,000 level.
