Pollak's Straight is No Good

Level 5 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Ben Pollak
Ben Pollak

David Peters opened to 5,000 from under the gun and was called by Benjamin Pollak in the small blind and Ben Tollerene in the big blind. The flop came {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{3-Spades} and the action checked around to the {10-Clubs} on the turn.

Pollak led out for 9,000 only to have Tollerene raise to 35,000. Peters quickly stepped aside and the action was back on the Frenchman. He shipped all in for around 130,000 and Tollerene snapped him off.

Ben Tollerene: {10-Spades}{6-Spades}
Benjamin Pollak: {q-Spades}{j-Clubs}

Tollerene flopped a flush but Pollak wasn't drawing dead as he held the nut flush draw to go with his straight. The river brought the {3-Diamonds} and that was it for Pollak as his chips were sent to Tollerene.
