Haxton Gets Value in Four-Bet Pot

Level 16

Limit Hold'em

Benjamin Pollak had pocket deuces on the button and he raised it up. Chris Vitch looked down at {A-Clubs}{10-Hearts} in the small blind and three-bet but Isaac Haxton woke up with {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds} in the big blind and placed in a four-bet. Pollak let his hand go but Vitch stuck around to see the flop.

Haxton flopped the nuts on the {9-Clubs}{8-Spades}{4-Spades} texture and fired in position. Vitch wasn't ready to give up just yet and called. The {4-Clubs} turn gave Haxton full house and he fired again, earning another call from Vitch.

The {Q-Hearts} completed the board and Vitch checked for the third time. Haxton bet out but couldn't get more money from Vitch who released his hand. Haxton scooped a one-million pot and cemented his chip lead.
