Hands #143-147: Chidwick Survives Elimination After Hitting Six-Outer on the River

Hand #143: Stephen Chidwick limped in with and Keith Tilston checked his , setting a trap. The flop was exactly what could Tilston hope for, allowing Chidwick flop top pair. Chidwick, however, checked back and they continued to the turn. Tilston fired 200,000 and Chidwick called. The river didn't scare Tilston who bet another 400,000. Chidwick called to see the bad news. "Nice bet," he complimented Tilston.

Hand #144: Tilston peeled and limped in. Chidwick checked with and the hit the felt. Tilston bet 100,000 in position and Chidwick floated to see the turn where Tilston barreled for 300,000. Chidwick check-folded.

Hand #145: Tilston received a walk.

Hand #146: Tilston limped again, that time with . Chidwick tapped with and they looked at the flop. Chidwick checked and called Tilston's 150,000-bet. The turn was checked by both players and the landed on the river. Chidwick checked for the third time and Tilston gave up, checking his seven-high.

Hand #147: Chidwick limped in with and Tilston checked to outflop his opponent on the . Tilston led out 200,000 with his top pair and Chidwick called. The turn card gave Tilston two pair and he overshoved for 1.14 million effective.

Chidwick threw in few chips, calling. He found himself in a disastrous shape, drawing just for six cards in the deck. Tilston was close to finishing him off but the dealer was against it. The river rescued Chidwick who remained in his seat, suddenly stacking up a huge double up that catapulted him to the chip lead.
