Schindler Flops a Straight

Level 7 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Jake Schindler
Jake Schindler

The action folded around to Sam Soverel in the small blind who shoved all in. Jake Schindler was in the big blind and made the call for his last 39,000 after some thought. Soverel tabled {a-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Schindler showed {j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}.

The flop came {10-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and Schindler flopped a straight, leaving Soverel drawing nearly dead. The {6-Spades} on the turn sealed the deal and the {q-Spades} on the river completed the board.

Meanwhile, Jason Koon entered the Aria poker room for the first time this series and has taken a seat to the right of Brian Rast.
