Kirsch Doubles Through Andrejevic

Level 23 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

Richard Kirsch opened to 280,000 with the {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{2-Clubs} under the gun and Andjelko Andrejevic looked down at the {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{7-Spades}{4-Spades} in the big blind. Andrejevic required two timebank chips before moving all in and Kirsch called putting himself at risk.

Andrejevic nailed the {k-Spades}{j-Spades}{q-Hearts} flop, making a set and putting Kirsch in rough shape. The {q-Diamonds} on the turn left Kirsch drawing to only an ace and as luck would have it, the {a-Diamonds} peeled off on the river and Andrejevic was left with less than one big blind.
