Ryan Riess Runs Bad to Finish on the Bubble

Level 14 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Ryan Riess
Ryan Riess

Ryan Riess recently lost a big pot while holding {10-}{10-} vs Justin Young's {A-}{10-}. Young hit not only one, but two aces to leave Riess on the short stack. In the first hand of hand-for-hand play, Riess pushed all in for 155,000 and was called by Young.

Justin Young: {a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
Ryan Riess: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}

Riess was well in front but, again, the flop came {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} giving Young the lead with a pair of aces. The {k-Hearts} on the turn and the {6-Clubs} on the river changed nothing and Riess was eliminated on the money bubble.
