The 5♠ completed the board and Taieb checked again. Nguyen went with a small sizing of 4,000 and Taieb put out a check-raise to 18,000. Nguyen then three-bet to 49,000 after some deliberation. Taieb went deep into the tank for around two minutes before he finally put out the call.
Nguyen showed K♠J♦ for the nut flush while Taieb tabled the Q♠ for the second nuts in a cooler scenario as Nguyen padded his stack.
