Patrick Coughlin was first to act and made it 90,000 to go. Soren Blanner in the cutoff three-bet to 225,000 and action folded to Coughlin. The American asked how much Blanner started the hand with (about a million, he said) and then moved all in. Blanner double checked his cards one last time and called.

Patrick Coughlin: {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}
Soren Blanner: {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}

The flop came a harmless {Q-Spades}{4-Hearts}{K-Hearts} and the two involved parties both got up from the table.

The {7-Diamonds} on the turn was anything but a blank and Blanner shouted "Nein! Nein! Nein!"

Coughlin, in awe, turned to the rail in full disbelief.

The {3-Spades} on the river was a blank and Blanner had been eliminated. He collapsed and sat hanging on his chair for a good minute before he made his way to the payout desk.

Blanner, a longtime Unibet Open player, collects €6,259 for his efforts. The remaining 9 players are guaranteed €7,011 from here on out.
