In the very next hand after Dimitri Pembroke fell, Irish favorite Daragh Davey joined him on the rail.

It happened when Davey shipped all in from the button for roughly 1.2 million. Paul Febers folded the small blind and Alan Gold snap-called from the big.

Gold: {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Davey: {k-Spades}{j-Clubs}

It was a classic flip and the entire room was up on its feet to watch the flop, which fell {6-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}. Gold's ten got through the tough part, but there were still two cards to come. The {9-Diamonds} turn was no help to Davey meaning it was down to the river. The dealer burned one last time and put out the {2-Diamonds}. Just like that we're down to heads-up play.

In addition, Davey's elimination means that Gold has won the FTP Qualifier Last Longer Sponsorship Promotion and will receive a prize package including buy-ins and expenses to every remaining stop on the UKIPT Season 4.
